In 1988 he graduated in Economics and Commerce, specialization "freelance profession", at the University of Verona. Since 1996 he has been a member of the Study Commission for Accounting Principles and Legal Audit of Accounts of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Vicenza. In 1997 he held the position of external professor at the Garbin Institute in Schio (VI). In 2007, he lectured on valuation issues relating to financial statements as part of the preparation course for the state exam for the profession of chartered accountant at the University of Vicenza. In the same year he taught "Criteria for evaluating the main balance sheet items" to officials of Vicenza district. In 2009, he lectured on issues relating to equities and liabilities, as well as on interim financial statements as part of the preparation course for the State examination for the profession of Chartered Accountant at the University of Vicenza. Since 2011 he has been collaborating, as an external lecturer, with Fondazione Cuoa of Vicenza as part of the Master of Business Administration for an in-depth study of accounting principles. He also collaborates sporadically with the University of Vicenza and gives specific speeches on issues relating to accounting and auditing standards, corporate taxation and the application of the group tax consolidation scheme. He is the owner of Studio Zamberlan Sergio in Thiene (VI). From 1990 to 1992 he worked at KPMG Peat Marwick auditing firm in Milan, with the qualification of senior. From 1992 to 1994 he worked at Acciaierie Valbruna Group in Vicenza as an accountant and assistant to the administrative director. Since 1994 he has been working as a freelance professional.
